We do not own your data. Putting notes or content into Daytiko does not change your ownership or copyright rights. If the data was yours before, it remains yours after using Daytiko.
Daytiko stores your notes securely on your device. Only if you choose to enable cloud sync, your notes will be backed up to your personal Google Drive account. Otherwise, your data remains entirely on your device and is never uploaded.

If you use the voice-to-text feature, your audio is securely transmitted to
OpenAI’s Whisper API for transcription. OpenAI may temporarily retain API data
for up to 30 days to detect abuse and ensure service reliability, after which
it is deleted (unless legally required to keep it).

When you subscribe to a Premium Plan, payments are processed securely via Google Play. We do not collect or store your payment details – we only receive a confirmation of successful payment.

These permissions are optional and requested only when you try to use the related feature. If you deny access, the rest of the app will continue to function normally. Media and audio you capture remain on your device by default, and are only backed up to your personal Google Drive if you enable sync. We do not analyze or share your photos, videos, or audio with third parties, except for temporary processing through the OpenAI Whisper API if you request transcription.
Your private notes and files are stored locally on your device by default. If you choose to enable sync, your notes will be securely backed up to your private Google Drive account. This is optional and entirely under your control. Daytiko does not access your Google Drive beyond your own app backup folder.
